Game pad: Sonic and Sega All Star Racing

Strap on your helmets and rev your engines, Sonic's back and this time it’s personal. Sonic and Sega All star racing is a new game headed to all your favourite consoles. The game boasts over 20 characters from the Sega Universe, including Sonic and the gang, the Jet Set Radio crew, Super Monkey ball star AiAi and many more! And if that’s not enough you’ll be able to use your Mii on the Wii version, and Your Xbox Live avatar and Banjo Kazooie on the Xbox360 version!

It promises to be a non-stop adrenaline rush, and from what I’ve seen it could just live up to the hype. There are a few similarities to Mario Kart - while racing you can pick up power-ups to enhance your vehicle or help you to knock another opponent out of pole position, as well as a super power-up unique to each character.

You can battle it out in a single player game or challenge four friends in four player split screen. Online battles can allow up to eight players to race it out for the title.
